Who We Are Looking For:

As a Full Stack Developer at Awaaz-e-Sehat, you’ll focus on building and refining our mobile application with React Native on the frontend and the backend hosted on Google Cloud. The backend of Awaaz-e-Sehat uses Bun.js for a high-performance JavaScript runtime and Hono as a lightweight framework, hosted on Google Cloud for scalable, secure infrastructure. This setup allows us to deliver rapid, low-latency responses essential for real-time interactions in the mobile app. You'll manage a PostgreSQL database and integrate Firebase for real-time functionality and secure data handling. This role involves close collaboration with our UX research team to deliver an efficient, user-centered experience through iterative development. 

Technical Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years in full-stack or mobile app development, with a strong focus on React Native and cloud-hosted backends.

• Proficiency in Backend Development: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, and Firebase and Google Cloud.

• Mobile Development Expertise: Skilled in building React Native applications with offline first capabilities, real-time updates, and Firebase integrations. 

• Database and Firebase Management: Experience with PostgreSQL and Firebase, with emphasis on secure data storage, real-time capabilities, efficient querying, and mobile optimization. 

• Iterative Development Mindset: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in iterative development cycles. 

• Code Quality: Strong understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git, and a commitment to clean, maintainable code. 

What You Will Do:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the Awaaz-e-Sehat mobile application using React Native for a seamless, responsive user experience. 

• Build and optimize backend services with Bun.js on Google Cloud, integrating Firebase and PostgreSQL for secure, real-time, and scalable data management. 

• Design, implement, and maintain our PostgreSQL database hosted on Google Cloud, focusing on data security, performance, and real-time synchronization with offline-first capabilities. 

• Leverage Firebase services, such as Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions, to enable real-time updates, user authentication, and cloud-based functionalities. 

• Work closely with UX researchers to incorporate user testing feedback, iterating quickly to improve application features. 

• Design and implement reusable, scalable components, ensuring the app performs well even in low-bandwidth or offline environments. 

• Conduct code reviews, maintain high code quality, and ensure thorough documentation to support scalable development practices.
